My upholsterer thinks that organic cotton batting will not hold up as well as dacron/polyester, especially in the back of the sofa. What are your thoughts on this? Is chemical field polyester my only option?

A local upholsterer told me he could use cotton batting instead of foam, which he has used for antique chairs. I am wondering what you think of cotton or wool as a padding without any foam?

I have an upholster willing to make cushions for us using natural latex and GOTS certified fabric that we purchased. However, we don’t know what kind of glue can be used. The upholsterer has only used a conventional (probably toxic) spray glue, so I offered to do some research. What suggestions for glues do you have? Thank you!
